Suggestions on how to boost your game to new levels

How to play is a page of helpful suggestions on how players can get a good start at online casino games and make the most of their welcome bonuses.

    Blackjack

The objective of blackjack is to get as close to twenty-one as possible without going over.  In a single player game of blackjack, you, the player, and a computer dealer will be playing against one another.  In a multiplayer game of blackjack, there will be other players at the table and the computer or possibly even a live blackjack dealer.  Multiplayer blackjack is much different in that the cards that are dealt to those players should also be considered in making choice about your own hand.  When you start a game of blackjack, you are dealt two initial cards.  These cards have a value assigned to them.  Face cards are worth ten and numeric cards are worth their numeric value.  Aces are different in that they can be used as one or eleven.  You will win a hand of blackjack, in multiplayer or single player blackjack by getting as close to twenty-one and beating the combination of cards that the dealer has.  If you go over twenty-one you will lose.  If the dealer's cards beat your combined value, you lose and if you tie with the dealer, this is called a push and your money goes back to you.  Going over twenty-one is called a bust.

    Summary of Rules

    1. Atlantic City Blackjack rules typically use eight decks of fifty-two cards which are shuffled together.  Some casinos will use different amounts of decks, but generally no less than six decks are ever used.
    2. In Online Casinos, the decks are typically re-shuffled after each hand.  In Land casinos this is not the case.
    3. In most casinos, the dealer is forced to stand on seventeen.
    4. Doubling after splitting allowed
    5. Typically only one split may occur per hand.
    6. Some casinos offer insurance but most do not offer surrender.
    7. When splitting aces, players are only allowed one additional card

    How to Play

Face cards are those that well, have a face.  Those are the King, Queen and Jack and each has a value of ten.  Cards that are numbered two to ten have the value that is indicated by the number on the card.  Aces have either a value of one or eleven.  If an ace at the value of eleven were to bust the hand then it is counted as one.  The total value of the hand is the sum of the values of your cards.

    Hit:

A hit is a request for the dealer to give you another card.  You are permitted to ask for as many cards as you want if it is not an ace on a split.  Remember that if you go over 21, then you have busted and lose that hand.

    Stand:

This means that you do not want any more cards to be dealt to you and that the dealer may go to the next player to his right.

    Split:

Splitting is when you take a hand that has two cards of the same value and turn them into two separate hands. A split requires that the initial bet be doubled to cover the new hand.

    Double Down:

Double down is a bet where you believe that one more card will put you at or closer to twenty-one.  This type of move requires that you double the bet and you may only receive one last card.

    Insurance:

If the dealer has an ace…

When a dealer deals himself an up card ace, then you will have the opportunity to take insurance.  This means that you may select the insurance option by clicking it.  The other option is to ignore the insurance option and continue playing.  If you think that the dealer has a value of ten on the down card, then insurance is a bet on that.  This is a side bet which is half of the initial wager on the hand.  If you are correct and the dealer wins, then that bet is paid 2 to 1, thus compensating for the loss of the initial wager.  If you are incorrect, then game play continues and the insurance money is lost.  If the player also has a blackjack then it is a push.

    Note:

The options of splitting or doubling down are typically offered when it is your turn after the cards have been dealt to all players.  If the dealer shows an ace, then insurance is the first option that is offered.  Then double down or the option to split is the prerogative of the player.

    Payoffs

    Result Payoff

    How to Play Slots

If you are excited about playing slots, there’s simply not that much to tell you to prepare you.  Pretty much you bet money in hopes that a combination of symbols that pays out falls into line.  However, modern slots games have multiple lines so I will go into a few of the basics just in case you want to know a little more about how to play slots.

First you have to deposit money into your account.  That may be a given, but if you are trying to get one of the great bonuses that are awarded to slots players by online casinos then make certain to deposit money, collect the bonus and then start playing.  Normally, when you being to play at a slot game, you will want to select the amount of money that is assigned to the coin.  That could be anything from .01 to $5 or even more.  You may increase or decrease the amount of the coin on most slot machines.

You will then have the option of betting one or betting max.  If you bet one, then that means that you are only betting one coin which is set at the value that you predetermined.  You should only have to choose the value one time and the game will remember until you decide to change that value.  On some slots with multiple lines, you will have the option to bet anywhere from 3 to 90 or more lines.  Betting max will select the max amount of coins and the max amount of lines on most games.  To start the game you will need to press spin or spin reels to get the action going.  From this point on you may continue to hit the MAX button or the BET ONE button to continue playing.  When you win, those credits will be added to your accumulative total until you decide to cash out.  Then those credits are converted to the dollar amounts and returned to your account.

    Progressive Jackpot Slot Machines:

Progressive slot machines are the most popular

Most players really like progressive jackpot slots because they have the potential to pay out hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars.  Jackpots are set to start at a specific amount set by the online casino.  Each time someone plays across the network on the progressive, their bet values are added to the potential jackpot.  Progressives tend to be more pricey than regular slots so make certain you are aware of the bet amount that you have to make in order to be eligible for the progressive jackpot payout.

    Roulette

American Roulette has a wheel with thirty-eight numbers which include the numbers one thru thirty-six plus zero and double zero.

Roulette is a game which is played by spinning a wheel and placing a tiny ball around a track.  The ball will spin until the kinetic force of the spinning wheel has ended and then the ball drops into a numbered slot.  In American Roulette those numbers could be from 1-36 or a green zero or green double zero.  Numbers are also divided into red and back and have a companion upon the flat table.  By placing bets on the numerically adorned roulette table and matching those numbers to the number that lands in the wheel, you will win.  The amount that you win will be determined by the type of bet you have decided to make.
